I had the BEST time surfing with the San Diego Surf School! The Aussie Alex was an awesome instructor, breaking down the steps and helping me to be safe, learn the basics of surfing, and have a blast catching the waves. This was my 6th time surfing (surfed in New Hampshire, Maui, and Sayulita, Mexico and this was by far the most productive lesson and the most fun as I caught a lot of waves. Great lessons, friendly instructors
Highly recommended! My husband and 2 teenagers took a semi-private lesson here while we were in town for vacation. The instructor was very helpful and friendly. All 3 of them were able to successfully get up on their boards and surf in shallow water by the end of the lesson. Another good memory in San Diego

Fun, learning and unforgettable experience

Great time!
We booked the semi-private package for my 15 year old son and his friend. They had Alex Joseph, the instructor, and had a blast! He was so nice and encouraging, and both boys got up and surfed! Since the experience they wanted to keep surfing each day! Well worth the time and experience. surfs up!
i loved surfing! the instructor was fun and cheered me on. the lesson kind of stopped though, at some point i stopped getting feedback, or at least helpful feedback..your falling to the left because your leaning left? i dont need an instructor for that. but overall it was a good experience.
