You can pick a time that works best for your schedule, between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Try to warm up before it’s time for your lesson with some stretching and deep breathing.

Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach are both ideal locations to start surf lessons. They have calm waters and predictable waves, and they aren’t too crowded.

We like to work with people who are really excited to learn how to surf. Even if you just take a few lessons, you’ll be much better equipped to surf on your own.

The first 10 minutes of your lesson will focus on safety and how to “pop up” on your board. After that, you’ll catch a bunch of waves and get used to surfing by yourself.
